Despite the recent hype of becoming the largest recipient of offshore outsourcing jobs, and its continued growth in the last ten years, India remains a land of extremes with pockets of very deep poverty. The average revenue per person is still very low, and this country of a billion people is still one of very traditional cultures, poor health, and limited inclusion of women and minorities.
